Professor when you took the course: Prof. Meenakshi Gupta
Feedback on Lectures:
The lectures were very entertaining and interesting. The professor used to gave various real life examples and most of the concepts were relatable or easy to think and understand.
Some 8-9 classroom activities were conducted which were very interesting and they promoted group discussions. Since, the class took in LT and less students were there, the focus was good.
Pre-requisites: None
Marks Distribution:
- Mid-Sem – 25%
- Assignment(2 Page Report) – 10%
- Project Report(Team) – 20%
- Presentation(Team) – 5%
- End-Sem – 40%
The class was divided into teams of 8-9 people and 25% of the marks was team effort.
Feedback on tutorials/assignments and exams:
- Mid-Sem/End-Sem: These are subjective and involved 5-6 questions. To get a perfect score, you should remember the concepts and the proper flow as was in the slides. Even if you don’t remember things, at least 50% of the questions will be intuitive and you will be able to write something to get a decent score.
- Assignment: It is like a summary or basically your learnings from the 8-9 classroom activities. It is easy to score 8-10 if you answer the questions properly relating the activities to the concepts.
- Project Report and Presentation: There’s a flexibility to choose the topic but the only condition is that it should relate to the concepts taught in the class. 4-5 team meetings for planning, finalising and working on your topic is enough ( may vary depending on the project topic you are choosing). Presentation is also manageable if you divide the work properly and everyone do their part well enough.
Difficulty Level: 3.5/5 (Relative Grading)
Attendance Policy: Institute attendance policy of 80% and DX too. Manual attendance.
